Denny Sonnabend Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denny Sonnabend of Amboy, Minnesota, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Sonnabend (Jack) and Leona (Franke); his wife Janice Arlene Stordahl (Willow Creek) of John's Lutheran Church; and his siblings, Jerry, Bob and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his children, Dean (Tammy) of Vernon Center and Kari Healy (John) of Mapleton; his grandchildren, Brittany Miller (Tyler), Joshua Sonnabend (Paula), Rachel Sonnabend, Carson Healy and Eli Healy; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Madison and Ella Miller; and his sister Beverly Sonnabend.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Vernon Center (202 Kendall St, Vernon Center, MN 56090). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Vernon Center (202 Kendall St, Vernon Center, MN 56090).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Amboy Lion's Club.
