He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Ihrke and Clara Ihrke (Schuchard); his children, Brian and Kathleen; his son-in-law Dale; and his siblings, Beryl, George, Ellsworth, Melvin, Delmer, Robert, Leola, Vernon, Elaine, Joy and Arley.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Sanders; his children, Don (Linda), Clair (Geri), Debra Morcomb (Rodney) and Nancy Kieffer; his son-in-law John Potter (Jane); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris), Rebecca (Andy), Kristi (Bill), Peggy (Josh), Brooke (Joe), Cory (Leah), Brian (Melinda), Casey (Cole), Marc (Lindsey), Erin (Aaron), Brent (Shelby), Ben (Kristine), Danielle (Brad) and Laura; his siblings, Gus (Marilyn), Shirley (Bill) and Lorry (Irvin); and his sister-in-law Mary Jane. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
