He was predeceased by: his wife Adeline; his siblings, John Mauer and Jean Majerus; and his son-in-law Ivan Roberts. He is survived by: his children, Jim Mauer (Bernadette) of Elba, Tom Mauer (Sharon) of Plainview, Nancy Roberts of Elba, Mike Mauer (Beth) of Elba, Diane Mauer (Morrie) of Fairfax, Susie Rell (Scott) of Hopkins, Lisa Thoe (Greg) of Kasson and Scott Mauer (Kim) of Navarre, FL.
He was a shining example of faith, and his strong work ethic formed the foundation of his success.
