With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irma D. Grunst (Alpha, Minnesota), who passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Paul H. T. and Rosa Gierke (Trupke); her husband Alvin Grunst (Bud); her children, Lynette Irma Grunst and Timothy Alvin Grunst; and her siblings, Cordy Trapp, Renata Holdahl, Leonard Gierke, Sylvia Behl and Esther Burgdorf.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Grunst (Sally) of Billings, Montana, Ruth Grunst of Trimont, Joel Grunst (Jennifer) of Troy, Harold Grunst (Angela) of Centenial and Paula Bargfrede (Doug) of Jackson, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Melissa Bargfrede, Katy Harmon (Cory), Amber Neuhauser (Tyrone) of Sarah Willis, R. J, Noel Cole (Kevin), Chelsea Jordan (Nick), Sawyer Olson (Jeremy), Sterling Bargfrede (Kelsey), Mitchell Grunst, Skylar Grunst (Sunny), Bobbi Grunst, Jack Grunst, Mason Grunst and Grayson Grunst; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Grunst of Windom, Alan Grunst (Marlys), Karen Benjamin of Jackson, Mary Ann Miller of New Ulm and Jolene Frederick (Chuck) of Jackson, Minnesota. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
