He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Whiting and Salin Whiting (Anderson); his wife Gloria Keck; and his siblings, Milton, Lee, Shirley and Donna.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Whiting of Alexandria, Brenda Olson (Donn) of Hoffman, Steven Whiting (Joyce) of Alexandria, Todd Whiting of Carlos and Gayle Whiting of Chanhassen; and his sister Lucille Asmund of Mora. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.
