It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verdell Lenora Krueger (Alexandria, Minnesota), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Freudenberg and Adelia Freudenberg (Della); her husband Alvin Winfred Krueger; her parents-in-law, William and Ernestine; her brother Delwin; her siblings-in-law, Palmer, Delbert, Romaine Norling, Lucy, Leola and Darlene; and her daughter-in-law Susan.
She is survived by: her children, Orvin of Alexandria, Leland Krueger of Alexandria and Jeanine Larson (Rick) of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Heather (Lukas Kilts) of Alexandria, Amanda Rognlin (Laif) of Fargo, ND, Kaylee Krueger of Alexandria, Phillip Krueger of Fargo, ND, Ashley Larson of Alexandria and Heidi Larson; her great grandchildren, Adrian, Kathryn Dahlen of Miltona, Braelyn and Stella Rognlin of Fargo, ND; her friend Mary Krueger of Miltona; and her sister-in-law Margine Norling of Garfield.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (300 Lake St, Alexandria, MN 56308). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery (4351 County Rd 5 NW, Alexandria, MN 56308).
