He was predeceased by: his parents, George Swanstrom and Helen Swanstrom (Petzke). He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Daniel Swanstrom (Jill) of Alexandria and Megan Swanstrom of Rochester; his grandchildren, Adeline Swanstrom of Alexandria and Jaxson Hanson of Rochester; his brother Larry Swanstrom (Cindy) of Rosemount; and his nephew Rory Swanstrom. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota.
