She was predeceased by: her parents, William Weisel and Nellie Weisel (Thompson); her grandmothers, Helen and Manly; and her husband Dave Nelson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Loeppke (Jay) of Alexandria and Linda Radi (Larry) of Billings, Montana; her grandchildren, Jayson Loeppke (Janie), Jenna Carr (Michael), Krista Frank (Jason), Michael Radi (Kassandra) and Kaitlyn Radi; her great grandchildren, Edward, Laurel Loeppke, Sisi, Jojo Carr, Tenley, AJ Frank and Anders Radi; and her brother-in-law Al Nelson (Bev).
