He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kortlever and Margaret Kortlever (Olivier); his sister Helena; and his brothers-in-law, Cecil Wager, Darrel Lokhorst and Fritz Huebner.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Schurman; his sons, Randy (Kay) and Kent (Tracy); his grandchildren, April (Victor), Megan (Shad), Tyler, Tanner and Tessa (Tucker); his great grandchildren, Eziekiel and Oliver; and his siblings, Robert, Nelvia Lokhorst and Betty Huebner.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Glendalough Park Partners or the Lakes Area Humane Society.
