With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Milton Petersen in Alexandria, Minnesota, born in Arlington, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Kellen Bayer (Henrik Bayermann); his parents, Milton Petersen (Eleanora Petersen) and Eleanora Petersen; and his siblings, Ronald Petersen, Dennis Petersen, Vernon Petersen, Donna Hoyer and Larry Petersen.
He is survived by: his children, Ronda Bayer (Brian) and Terry Petersen (Sherri); his grandchildren, Chelsea Bayer (Samantha), Caitlin Bayermann (Tyler), Jennifer Petersen, Nicole Petersen and Benjamin Petersen; and his siblings, Darrel Petersen and Diane Christensen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
