He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Johnson and Bertha Johnson (Mensinger); and his siblings, Leroy Johnson, Charlotte Ludwig and Joyce Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Johnson of Holmes City; his children, Terry Johnson (Bonnie), Steven Johnson (Melissa) and Gregory Becky Johnson (Marisa); and his grandchildren, Bob Johnson, Amy Lessard (Jesse), Tiffaney Johnson, Eric Johnson (Jen), Natalie Danielson (Ray), Christopher Johnson, Jessica Ossanna and Tianna Beaman. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (659 Voyager Dr, Alexandria, MN 56308). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (5966 County Rd 4W SW, Alexandria, MN 56341).
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS MEMORIALS TO TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH IN HOLMES CITY OR ST. LUKE'S CHURCH IN GARFIELD ARE PREFERRED.
