He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul LeRoy Ersted and Eva Ersted (Lundquist); and his brother-in-law Roland Greiner. He is survived by: his wife Renee Haley Hilbrand; his daughters, Michelle Lee Hess (James) and Erin Ersted (Chadd Block); his stepchildren, Michelle Lea Ringer (John Kolter) and Ryan Hilbrand (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jaida Hess, TJ Ringer, Maxwell Hess, Caleb Hilbrand, Ella Ringer, Jake Ringer and Henry Paul Jensen; his sisters, JoAnn Ersted Greiner (Jan), Judith, Judy Papineau (Joe) and Joyce Beck (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Haley (Betty), Dean Haley (Marla) and Dawn Anfinsen (Pete). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and so many close friends.
