He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Ackerman (Hayung) and Edward Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ackerman of Alexandria; and his children, Gary Ackerman of Richfield, Lynn Ackerman (Mary) of Alexandria, Deb Loken (Dan) of Alexandria and Darla Dau (Randy) of Alexandria. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
