With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Kay Shoemaker in Alexandria, Minnesota, born in Freeport, Minnesota, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lori Ettel; and her husband Larry Shoemaker. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Shoemaker (Pat) and Dawn Gustafson (Mark); her siblings, Doris Hock, Judy Merwin, Terri Ellering (Chris), Dick, Fred (Judy), Linus (Geri), Gary and Mark Ettel (Michelle); and her granddaughter Sophia. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory (659 Voyager Dr, Alexandria, MN 56308). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
