With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvel L. Schwen of Alexandria, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Fox and Charlotte Fox (Viesselman); her brothers, Donald and James Fox; and her husband Maurice Schwen.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Johnson (Roger) of Alexandria; her granddaughters, Kristina Milinkovich, Jenny Bessingpas (David) and Mandy Souba (Joe); her son Steven Schwen of Lake City; her grandchildren, Sam Schwen (Becca), Joe Schwen (Rebecca), Jesse Schwen (Kari), Gus Schwen, Isaiah Schwen and Hope Schwen; her son Kent Schwen (Jodi) of Brainerd; and her grandsons, Andy Schwen (Missy), David Schwen and Nick Schwen (Hayley). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
