We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mark Douglas Petersen of Alexandria, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rich Petersen and Jan Petersen (Carney); and his in-laws, Phyllis and Dennis Erickson. He is survived by: his friends, Steve and Mindy Altermatt; his wife Shari Erickson; his children, Tara Ahrendt (Mitch), Trent Petersen (Leah) of West Fargo, ND, Cassidy Petersen of Minneapolis and Mallory Petersen (Bailey Rosch) of Plymouth; his grandsons, Grayson Mark and Dax Douglas; his brother Tim (Cher); and his brothers-in-law, Troy (Darla) and Ryan (Becky). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Alexandria Covenant Church (4005 Dakota St, Alexandria, MN 56308). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, MEMORIALS TO UNITED WAY OF DOUGLAS AND POPE COUNTIES OR ALEXANDRIA COVENANT CHURCH ARE PREFERRED.
