He was predeceased by: his father Marlan "Tom" Hvezda; and his father-in-law David Pehan. He is survived by: his mother Mavis Hvezda (Kalina) of Glenwood; his wife Shelly; his children, Amanda Grzych (Jason) of Baton Rouge, Danielle Thompson (Kyle) of Alexandria, Amber Hvezda of Alexandria, J. T. Hvezda of Alexandria and Dylan Hvezda (Johanna) of Elrosa; his siblings, Jennifer Hvezda of St. Francis, Scott Hvezda (Danna) of Alexandria and Bob Hvezda (Carrie) of Alexandria; his mother-in-law Mary Pehan of Glenwood; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Damian, Wyatt, Shayne, OzzaLynn, Brayden, Langston, Amdyn, Kestyn, Elaina, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Josephine and William. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lind Family Funeral Home (1623 10th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1655 18th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Lake Mary Cemetery (Minneapolis, MN).
