He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Wessel (Schmitz) and Henry Bernard Wessel; his friends, Bing and Hank; and his wife Bing.
He is survived by: his pet Danny; his former wife Carol J.; his close friend Phyllis Turner of Alexandria; his children, Marie Lee Wessel, Kurt Koegel (Dana) and Kris Koegel; and his grandchildren, Sam Koegel, Ryan Albinski, Kate Koegel, Katie Albinski and Tommy Albinski.
