She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hammer and Mathilda Hammer (Loeffler); her husband David Tvrdik; her daughter Joyce; and her brothers, Frank, Jim, Merlin and Edgar.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Martin (Ed) and Theresa Svec (Henry); her sister-in-law Lorraine Hammer; and her grandsons, Chad Gerdes, Ryan Gerdes, David Tvrdik, Denver Tvrdik, Zachary Tvrdik and Jeremiah Tvrdik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Knute Nelson Hospice.
