He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Walter; his children, Michael Walter, Teresa Klimek (Kenny), Kenneth Walter, Douglas Walter (Leslie), James Walter and Joseph Walter (Jamie); and his siblings, Ruth, Leona, Charles, Eunice, Ivan, Clinton and Fred. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
