Gary Vernon Olson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Vernon Olson of Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gary Vernon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Gary Vernon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Olson and Darryle Olson; his sister Debra Seger; and his brother-in-law Lynn Seger. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Novak; his children, Troy Olson (Jessica) and Rhonda Olson (Ross); and his siblings, Lor Olson (Sandy), Greg Olson and Sheryle Lindberg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
