He was predeceased by: his wife Fern Zinniel; his parents, Raymond and Anna; and his siblings, LaVern Zinniel, Beata Zinniel, Illa Swanson and Virginia Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Zinniel (Joe Riege) of Roseville, David Zinniel (Jacque) of Blaine, Carol Johnsen of Rochester, Donna Schmit (Rick) of Maple Grove and Julie Best (Tom) of Sandstone; his daughter-in-law Debbie Zinniel; and his brothers-in-law, Curtis Stroman (Marcia) and Merle Johnson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
