She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Urness and Emma Urness (Thorson); her husbands, Gordy Diekman and Robert Martin; her siblings, Virgil, Harlan and Donna; and her stepsons, Jim and Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Kari Anderson (Arlan), Kyle Diekman (Shelley) and Kurt Diekman (Brenda); her sisters, Arlou Schwendemann and Joann Kildow (Greg); and her stepdaughters, Charlene Waddingham and Kristi Huck (Mike). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (300 Lake St, Alexandria, MN 56308).
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Douglas County Hospice.
