It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Lantz of Alexandria, Minnesota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dolores may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Knute Kleveland and Anna Kleveland (Jenson); her husband Bradford Lantz; her daughter Sheila Novotny; her granddaughter Lisa; and her siblings, Thomas, Chet Burnham, Murl, Donald and Charlotte.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Lantz (Jane) and Barb Nowicki (Mike). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1655 S McKay Ave, Alexandria, MN 56308). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
