David William Dehnke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William Dehnke of Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dehnke and Arlene Dehnke (Strausberg); his wife Marlys Bork (Frey); his son-in-law Brad Schmidt; his brothers, Donald, Harold and Delbert; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy, Bonnie, Valerie, Karen Dehnke, Louella Streit (Toots), Esther Asborn and Wayne Frey.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Schmidt of Alexandria and Todd Bork (Monique) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Tiffani Murray (David) of Kensington, Nick Schmidt (Carrie) of Morris, MN and Ian Bork of St. Cloud, MN; his great grandchildren, Ezra Murray, Huxley, Harlow and Henley Schmidt; his brothers, Melvin of Fall Creek, WI and Gene (Marion) of Port Richey, FL; and his sister-in-law Joyce Frey of Alexandria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (1655 S McKay Ave, Alexandria, MN 56308).
