It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Henry Schackel (Alexandria, Minnesota), who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Schackel and Eileen Schackel (Larson); and his daughter Ramona. He is survived by: his children, Andrew and Lora Ronholdt (Brian); his grandchildren, Kenneth Pekarek, Amy Pekarek, Tanner Ronholdt and Lilly Ronholdt; his sisters, Lois Rairdon (Dave) and Beverly Rairdon Sharon (Paul); and his brother-in-law Don Nelson (Robert Drakeford).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (16 Douglas Ave, Carlos, MN 56319).
