She was predeceased by: her mother Amanda; her husband David Gilchrist II; her son James; her siblings, Marian, Alma, Pauline, Doris, Bert and Robert; and her parent Halvor.
She is survived by: her sons, David III, Charles (Teri), John (Char) of Alexandria and Robert (Peg) of Prior Lake, Minnesota; and her siblings, Marlys Borstad of Madison, Margaret Casler of Alexandria, Minnesota and Richard Bourne of Vista, California.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
