With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roland Somnis (Alden, Minnesota), who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Somnis and Edith Somnis (Reasoner); his wife Pat Somnis; his granddaughter Virginia Somnis; and his siblings, Grace Somnis, John Somnis Jr., Rosella Thompson, Robert V. Somnis, James Somnis, Thomas Somnis and Barbara Ganske.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Anderson, Michael Somnis (Amanda), Robert Somnis (Cheryl) and Kevin Somnis (Julieta); and his grandchildren, Krista Somnis, Kaitlynn Somnis, Michael Somnis Jr., Dustin Somnis, Tylor Somnis, Jamie Anderson (Stephanie), Tony Anderson, Trinity Jones, Alyssa Somnis and Angel Somnis. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
