She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilmer Wermedal and Annettie Wermedal (Brudvig); her husband Dwaine Abbe; her siblings, Phyllis Carlson and Donald Wermedal; her parents-in-law, Walter and Melita Abbe; and her siblings-in-law, Bernard, Marilyn Abbe, Roy Carlson, Alvin Kluender and David Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Nielsen (Dan) of Maple Grove, MN, Cindy McCulloch (Charles) of Surprise, AZ and Daniel Abbe (Anne) of Maple Grove, MN.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
