It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Johannsen (Alden, Minnesota), born in Lyle, Minnesota, who passed away on August 31, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Marjorie; his parent-in-law Henry Stephan; his siblings, Richard, Alice Schultz (Harlan) and Fern Muckey (Roy); his brothers-in-law, Merle Hobbs and Don Ziegler; and also Florence Stephan.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Johannsen of Alden; his sons, Jewell Johannsen (Ella) of Albert Lea, Stephen Johannsen (Rachel) of New Milford, CT, Jason Johannsen of Faribault and Brian Johannsen (Melissa) of Albert Lea; his grandchildren, Jerek, Macy, Zachary, Cody, Adam, Katie, Danielle, Erika, Kelsey and Kaitlyn; his sisters, Marilyn Hobbs and Dona Ziegler; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Stephan (Norine), Ronald Stephan (Tina) and Lois Stephan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
