He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Thostenson and Marie Thostenson; and his brother Vern Thostenson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Thostenson of Alden; his children, Alex Thostenson of Alden, Amy Spinler (Joe) of West Salem and Chris Thostenson (Jamie) of International Falls; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Derek, Madalynn, Izabelle, Porter, Allison, Kindra, Erica, Olivia and Jake.
