He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Dahlheimer and Cornellia Dahlheimer (McNeil); his wife LaVerne; his children, Sharon and Gary; his grandson Jacob Eicher; his siblings, Shirley Dahlheimer, Arlene Hoglund, Wilbur Dahlheimer and Irma Vetsch; his brothers-in-law, Stuart Hoglund, Donatus Vetsch, Donald Greninger, Ken Tiernan, Marty Martinez and Don Chamberlin; and his friend Ingrid "Cookie" Manro.

He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Eicher (Dennis), Carolyn Eicher (Tony), Greg Dahlheimer (Debby), Tom Dahlheimer, Joe Dahlheimer (Kim Anderson) and Brenda Zachman (Vince); his sisters, Phyllis Greninger, Muriel Tiernan, LaVonne Martinez and Gwen Chamberlin; and his sister-in-law Lucille Dahlheimer. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
