She was predeceased by: her parents, August Shuster and Mary Shuster; her nephew Cal Lidstrom; and her grandson Isiac Mattingley. She is survived by: her husband James Nolan; her siblings, John Shuster, Susan Lidstrom and Elizabeth Harren; her sons, Andrew Nolan and Joseph Nolan; and her grandchildren, Brianna Ryan, Connor Nolan, Samantha Nolan and Simon Nolan.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting Jan's caring and generous nature.
