He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his son Christopher; his granddaughters, Casey and Allison; and his parents, Raymond and Ordeana.
He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond, Bonnie and Russell; and his children, Jay Carlson (Mary Beth), Laurie McLennan, Cindy Carlson (Dan), Theresa Simpson, Pam Carlson (Chris), Cathy Walker (Tom), John Carlson (Mary) and Nancy Schoen (Mike). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
