He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; his son-in-law Michael Clapp; his grandson Cody Clapp; and his siblings, John Godeke (Grace), Albert Godeke (Grace), Garret Godeke (Hilda), Bernie Godeke (Alice), Dena Bekius (Bert), Lyd Roosendahl (Dick), Gladys Roelofs (Hank), Jean Nienoord (Engel) and Frieda De Jong (Clarence).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon McCallum, Larry Godeke, Lora Karsjens (Kent) and Cindy Clapp (Michael); his grandchildren, Amy Brand (Matt), Brian Karsjens (Holly), Jason Clapp (Brittaney) and Colton Clapp; his great grandchildren, Abby, Gwen, Simon, Marcus Brand, Brayden Karsjens, Tearick Clapp and Callie Clapp; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Cox, Virginia Coburn, Betty Veldman and Virginia Newbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Hollandale Christian Schoool or the charity of your choice.
