He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Lenz and Myrtle Lenz; his wife Barbara Lenz; his son Allen Edward Lenz; his grandchildren, Virginia Ann Somnis and Duwayne Linwood Coke; and his sister Janet Larson.
He is survived by: his children, Marian Roche (Steven), Kathleen Berning, Warren Lenz (Desireé), Cheryl Somnis (Robert) and David Lenz (Naomi); his grandchildren, Kevin Nelson, Michelle Neeley, Heidi Roche, Whitney Roche, Christian Roche, Elizabeth Ellis, Jared Berning, Trinity Overgaard, Alyssa Somnis, Angel Somnis, Inara Lenz, Elias Lenz, Steven Lenz, Chelsey Haroldson, Karter Sherman, Brookelynn Lenz, Jayde Lenz and Emma Lenz; and his sisters, Betty Paul, Phylis Champ and Lois Peterson. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Christian Church (1705 SE Marshall St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Shady Oak Cemetery (Minneapolis, MN).
