It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valan Johnson (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Johnson and Vilma Johnson (Westrum); and his daughter Melissa. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Johnson (Heather), Mollie Monson and Elizabeth Barry (Jordan); his grandchildren, Jaime Doan (Tyler), Katelynn Wallin, Rachael Zabrocki (Zach), Mackenzie Monson, Madison Johnson, Paige Monson, Magdalen Johnson, Levi Monson, Arya Barry and Ava Barry; his great grandchildren, Tavyn Doan and Tylie Doan; and his siblings, Darcy Johnson (Pam) and Robin Otterbine (Bill).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Albert Lea Anglers or the ACT Theater.
