He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cashin and Cecilia Cashin (Shaughnessy); his wife Betty; his grandsons, Timmy Cashin and Spencer DeWild; his sisters, Margaret Vollmer and Mary Krenik; his siblings-in-law, Richard Krenik, Roger Vollmer, Joe Halloran and Wilma Cashin; and his nephews, Gene Krenik and Dan Cashin.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Cashin (Holly) of Tonka Bay, Kathy of New Hope, Mary Sutherland (Ken), Nancy Hoium (Rol) of Albert Lea, Peggy DeWild (Roger) of Austin, Tom Cashin of San Francisco and Maureen Cashin (John Storm) of Hackensack; and his siblings, John Cashin of Oakdale and Rita Ann Halloran of New Hope. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be postponed until next summer due to COVID restrictions.
