It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Lenort Sr. of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Wells, Minnesota, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Lenort and Gertrude Lenort (Utzka); and his siblings, Mary, Monica, Margaret Staloch (George), Catherine Klocek (Ray), Rose Jorgenson (Jerry), Bernadette Feist (Roland), Ed, Mark Lenort (Rose), George Lenort (Bonnie), Robert Lenort (Corrinne) and Jim Lenort.
He is survived by: his nephew Dunnell Lenort; his wife Georgene Tukua of Casimir's Catholic Church; his children, Ronda Flaherty (Peter) of Plainfield, VT and Thomas Jr. of Clarks Grove; his grandchildren, Jason Lenort (Melanie Johnson) of Clarks Grove, Emma Flaherty of Northeast Harbor, ME, Zack Flaherty of Denver, CO, Jameson Flaherty of Burlington, VT, Cole Lenort (Caitlin) of Geneva, Ross Lenort of Prior Lake and Trevor Lenort of Billings, MT; his great grandchild Collins Kate Lenort of Geneva; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Lenort of Wells and Jan Lenort of Walters.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Theodore Catholic Church (315 E Clark St, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
