He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Brink and Ione Brink (Shields); his stepmother Clara Brink; his parents-in-law, Jake and Etta Stratmeyer; his nephew Lee Stratmeyer; his siblings-in-law, Joe Calligan and Diane Nelson; and his cousin Dick Hartsook.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Stratmeyer; his children, Wendy Bidne (Jay) of Emmons, Sean Brink (Kristine) of Albert Lea and Jeremy Brink (Abbey) of Hayward; his grandchildren, Ashley Waller (Garrett), Logan Bidne (Hannah), Dakota Bidne, Eva, Macy, Sienna Brink, Elisa and Kameron Brink; his great grandchildren, Aria, Isla Waller, Everett, Bennett, Lane Bidne and Esme Bidne; his brothers, Robert Brink (Marvelyn), Richard Brink (Kay) and John Brink (Sharon Mittelstad); his siblings-in-law, John Stratmeyer (Joyce), Elmer Stratmeyer (Cornelia), David Stratmeyer (Julaine), Jerry Nelson and Joan Ronke (Tom); and his close friends, Yossi and Aaliyah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
