She was predeceased by: her son Craig; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Nelson; her parents, John Travis and Esther Christian (Carlson); her parents-in-law, Nels and Mabel Nelson (Larson); her brother Robert Christian; her siblings-in-law, Zola Utzke (Bob), Carroll Nelson (Margaret) and Manford Nelson (Deloris); her nieces, Gayle Lyon, Virginia Sandquist and Luetta Hinkle; and her nephew Gary Christian.
She is survived by: her husband Wes Nelson; her children, Judy Dilling (Paul) and Brian Nelson (Cathy); her granddaughters, Jeanne Dilling (Jake Fielstra) and Susie Neist (Troy); her great grandchildren, Sadie and Levi; her grandson Zachary Nelson (Alisha); her great grandchildren, Reese and Avery; her grandchild Hilary Haddad (Jason); her great grandchildren, Alex and Jake; and her sister-in-law Florence Christian. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Youth for Christ or the donor's choice.
