She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Overgaard and Peter Overgaard; her husband Glen Ballandby; her son Randee Ballandby; her children-in-law, Kim Ballandby, Jodi Ballandby and Daniel Medd; her grandchildren, Joshua, Wyatt, Katie Medd and Jeni Helgerson; her niece Diane Overgaard; and her brother Paul Overgaard.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard Maschka; her children, Julie Mumaugh (Dave), Lisa Medd, Sandra Hassing (Tim), Sheila Helgerson (Alan), Heidi Lewis (Myron) and Chad Ballandby; her brother Dr. Peter Overgaard (Mimi); and her sister-in-law Janet Overgaard. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
