It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell John Roozenboom of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Canton, South Dakota, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Irene Roozenboom (Nelson) and William John Roozenboom; his brothers, Dennis Roozenboom and David Laughton; and his grandparents, William and Grace Roozenboom.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Catherine Tambo; his children, Amy Sillanpa (Brad) of Northfield, MN and Mike Roozenboom (Leah) of Sioux Falls, SD; his granddaughter Kaelyn Sillanpa; and his sisters, Denise Hanson (Doug) of Plymouth, IA and Becky Mullins (Tony) of Morehead City, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church.
