He is survived by: his daughter Brandy Hughes; his grandchildren, McKenna Hughes and Ryder Whelan; and his siblings, Sandra Lestrud (Richard), Walter Lang (Kim), Terry Lang and Barb Bothum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
