He was predeceased by: his parents, LuVerne Burkhow and Viola Burkhow (Leland); his wife Jaylene Burkhow; his parents-in-law, Cora and Maynard Gudal; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Burkhow, Chris Gudal, Mimi Satre and Dugan Satre.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Burkhow (Allison) and Aimee Struck (Timothy); his grandchildren, Alek Struck, Jaden Struck (Mitzi Lehocky), Landon Struck (Perla Linares), Charlie Burkhow, Teddy Burkhow, Cassie Burkhow (Micah Swanson), Lucy Burkhow and Evie Burkhow; his siblings, Larry Burkhow, Leslie Burkhow (Karen) and Julie Morrison (Doug); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Gudal, Birdie Gudal, Sharron Becker (Dale) and Cymbre Christman (Gary).
