He is survived by: his wife Betty of Albert Lea, MN; his children, Jim Hermanson (Mary) of Mason City, IA, Tom Hermanson of Fertile, IA, Linda Pomeroy of Winterset, IA, Michael Scherf (Doreen) of Tucson, AZ, Pat Scherf (Kevin Dirkes) of Osakis, MN and Rob Scherf of Rio Rico, AZ; his grandchildren, Sam, Sarah, Zachary, Nathan, Abbey, Kelley, Haeley and Sierra; his great grandchildren, Zander, Talyssa, Waylen, Yani, Oliver and Lucy; his grandfather Roger; his siblings, Ovila Hanna of Lake Mills and Kenny Hermanson of Albert Lea, MN; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Andersen of Waseca, MN and Neil Severson of Albert Lea, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
