He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Sr. Probst and Marcella M. Probst (Hebig); and his brothers, Michael and Joseph, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Connie Rose Larson; his daughter Jodi Lawton (Troy Schmidtke) of Hudson, WI; his grandsons, Scott and Dan; his son Chris Probst (Mindy Bawek) of Austin, MN; his grandchildren, Cassidy Christensen (Bryan), Alec and Noah; his great grandchildren, Brantley and Bryson; his brother Dick Probst (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Probst, Elaine Hay (Jerry), Gene Larson (Ruth), Frank Larson (Twyla), John Larson (Kari), Dale Larson and Doug Larson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Theodore Catholic Church (315 E Clark St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Theodore's Catholic Church or School of Albert Lea, MN or to the charity of your choice.
