He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Nistler and Matilda Nistler; his wife Darlene; and his brothers, Jerry, Austie and Marley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Noelle Reif (Tony) and Melissa Grahek (Drew); his siblings, Norman (Delores), Willie (Joann) and Kathleen; his grandchildren, Nick Grahek (Jen), Jack Grahek, Casey Reif (Ella) and Olivia Reif; and his great grandchild Grace Grahek.

Memorials will be donated to St. Theodore's Catholic Church and American Legion Baseball.
