He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Maxwell and Alta Maxwell (Barker); his wife Catherine "Connie" Gunderson; and his sisters, Dorothy Emstad (Albert) and Margaret Kruse (Dan).
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Royce (Kerry) and Richard Maxwell; his grandchildren, Kelly Weitzel (Darik), Adam Royce (Samantha Froendt) and Alison Maxwell (Henry Yordon); his great grandchildren, Warren and Harriet Weitzel; and also, LeRoy Gunderson (Jane) and Dorothy Wayne.
