It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leroy Kluender of Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Kluender and Lilah Kluender; his in-laws, Virgil and Iva Hoyt; and his brothers-in-law, Bennett Haroldson and Bill Hoyt.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kluender; his children, Lori Klingson (Gary) and Todd Kluender (Becky); his grandchildren, Tyler Klingson (Miranda), Luke Klingson (Sara), Jenna Bauers (Lawrence Olson), Josh Kluender, Lacy Wright, Andrew Kluender and Jocelyn Kluender; his close friend Hayden Olson; his great grandchildren, Presley, Shay Klingson, Sophia, Camdon, Calvin Nelson, Clay Bauers, Haven Olson and Clair Kluender; his sister Connie Haroldson; his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Hartzler (Larry) and Marvelyn Hoyt; his niece Darcy Hall (Richard Beck); his nephew Dacia Bottelson (Eric); his great-nephew Trevor Hall (Hannah Ausenhus); and his great-nieces, Sophie and Claire Bottelson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bayview Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
